Since the 1990s we have been facilitating practical and invigorating workshops that have been inspired by our many teachers, including Robert Lester, Elaine Childs Gowell, Myron Eshowsky, Robert Masters, Michael Harner, Robert Moss, and Elisabeth Kübler-Ross.

Our own personal pursuits of "what really is the truth?" led us to create The Foundation for Union with Truth, where we have transformed our personal challenges into sources of wisdom and vitality that can help others discover their own truth and life.

Ever since I can remember, when people asked me what I wanted for my birthday or Christmas, I always wanted to answer, "World peace." That wish is still true today. It has also been the focus of my life's path--I knew that to have world peace, I first had to find my own inner peace.

I have come much closer to that inner peace thanks to many, many years of effort, intention, and training. My road has taken me through psychotherapy, psycho-spiritual counseling, and different rites of passage and ceremonies in Peru with Don Augustine and in Canada with the Blackfoot Tribe. I have participated in Enlightenment Intensives, deep shamanic work around the world, and years and years of teachings from traditional and aboriginal medicine men and women. I have also taught multiple forms of martial arts.

I have always wanted to make a difference in the world with who I am. So I, along with Deanne, created The Foundation for Union with Truth, where we combine our wealth of knowledge and experience, our love for the world and each other, and our extensive world travels into a practice that supports others in their quest for truth.

I am a therapist, ceremonialist, traditional healer, and teacher. I specialize in Eastern and Western ceremonies and healings, such as cold water meditation, sweat lodges, pipe ceremonies, shamanic journeying and healing, fertility ceremonies, and other rites of passage. I currently volunteer with maximum security prisoners in sweat lodge and pipe ceremonies, and have worked with clients living with HIV and AIDS to bring a varied response to what and why life has brought us along this great path.

I am an Enlightenment Intensive Master and a registered Counselor. My couples work includes foundational relationship work and Tantric modalities to embrace the masculine/feminine polarities of relationships. As a Parenting with Love and Logic Instructor, I help parents develop responsible and respectful kids.

Through my own life trials and nearly twenty years of personal healing, I have learned to remain open while I work through tribulations and personal teachings. I bring all of this to your feet as assistance and support to help you reach your own place of transformation and to live with an open heart.

I hope you will invite me to join you at the edge of your cliff, so you can lean over and see what's there safely and with humility.

Deanne Cousins

It is an honor to witness the transformation, healing, and expansion of others. My passion is to support individuals who want to magnify their consciousness, align with their truth, and manifest their deepest desires. Together, through consciousness, we heal the earth.

That is why I co-founded the Foundation for Union with Truth with Wayne: to bring teachings and tools that preserve the beauty and integrity of individuals and promote personal and community healing. These tools allow individuals to release their armor and barriers and integrate their mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual bodies.

My experience as a therapist, instructor, and family interventionist draws on a wide range of approaches and trainings. These include psycho-spiritual counseling, behavioral counseling, shamanic traditions, dyad communication, grief and loss ceremonies, Restorative Touch energy work, tantric practices, and Enlightenment Master trainings.

I have been featured on the Vibrational Health Radio Show, where I coached parents to raise responsible, capable, and conscious children. I have counseled deaf and hearing children and youth in schools on a wide range of issues, as well as provide in-home family intervention for conflict resolution and authentic communication.

Other family-related work includes volunteering at food banks and a shelter for women and children experiencing domestic violence, being a youth activity coordinator (including ropes course facilitation), and working as a Parenting with Love and Logic Instructor. I am also an Ordained Minister and a Certified Spiritual Healer.

These experiences have been my path of evolution. There have been many times of darkness where I gained wisdom and grace, and I know there will be more. Throughout my journey, I have been blessed to have mentors and teachings that have pushed me beyond my comfort zone and into living a more aligned life.

My mission is to honor these teachings by sharing them with others. I invite you to work with me and be the divine light that you are.
